A support tool, not a guarantee
GPS and cellular location can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable indoors, underground, near dense buildings, under vegetation, in poor coverage, with low battery or after damage. Always check “last updated” and the accuracy radius.
Not a substitute for legal identification
A MEO safety tracker is not an implanted microchip, official registration, pet passport or proof of ownership. Keep legal identification and contact details current. Belgian regional rules require identification/registration for dogs and cats; EU travel has separate identification and document rules.
Responsible attachment
Use only the supplied or approved attachment and follow the fit instructions. Check skin, fur, collar condition and device temperature. Stop use for irritation, pain, restricted breathing or movement, damaged casing, swelling, leakage or unusual heat, and seek veterinary advice when appropriate.

Supervision and welfare
MEO safety does not replace humane supervision, secure fencing, a leash where required, food, water, shelter, exercise, veterinary care or local welfare duties. A geofence alerts; it does not restrain an animal.
If a pet is missing
- Check the timestamp, accuracy and battery before acting.
- Activate Lost Mode only when safe and useful.
- Search without entering private property or dangerous areas.
- Contact local shelters, a veterinarian, the microchip registry and police where appropriate.
- Do not rely on MEO safety as the only recovery measure.
Privacy and misuse
Do not attach MEO safety to a person, someone else’s animal or property without lawful authority. Do not publish live coordinates. Invite only trusted people to the household; its creator can revoke access when it is no longer needed.
