Frequently asked questions
Is a subscription required?
No. Recording to the included microSD card, video calls and patrols all work without a subscription. The Cloud+ option adds online backup and continuous playback, but stays optional.
Is the app available in French and Dutch?
Yes, and in English, on iOS and Android. The printed guide shipped with the robot is bilingual FR/NL.
Can it climb stairs?
No, by design. It clears a 10 mm threshold and a 15 degree slope, which covers rugs and door strips, but it stays on one floor. Plan one robot per floor if needed.
Will my cat be scared of it?
Often, for the first few days. The tumbler shape and the progressive sounds are designed for that adjustment. Leave the robot switched off for two or three days before letting it drive.
What happens if it breaks down?
You write to the Belgian after-sales service. We arrange the bpost collection and you follow the case in your language. Two-year legal warranty, extendable to three.
Is the plug Belgian?
Yes, a type E adapter with an earth pin. That is not the case for units imported from the United States, which ship with a US plug.
May I film a person in my own home?
In a strictly domestic setting, yes. But you must inform the people present, must not film a cleaner or a tenant without their knowledge, and must never point the camera at the public road or at neighbours. See the Responsible home use note in the legal centre.
